25th April - Botanical Still Life Workshop with Mia Cathcart

£60.00

Saturday 25th April
9:45am - 12:30pm
Your ticket includes all materials, guidance, soft drinks, hot drinks and a snack from Hawarden Estate Farm Shop.

This is a relaxed session with no expectation, prior skill or knowledge required.

Beginning with a walk around the grounds, you’ll pick your own still-life items; from in-season daffodils, tulips, wild flowers, brambles and more. Back in The Walled Garden School, Mia will guide you through the step-by-step process of creating a still-life painting of your chosen items, using acrylic paints. With plenty of guidance and feedback along the way, you’ll finish the session with a truly personal canvas to take home.

Whether you’re completely new to painting or a dab hand with the brush, the session is relaxed and open to all.

Guests will leave with both their own high-quality canvas acrylic painting and newfound knowledge of acrylic painting techniques and colour schemes.

All materials provided, but you may want to wear clothes you don't mind getting messy!
