Taking time for our body and mind

Following many successful classes with Emma, join us for another yoga retreat half day.

Come to Hawarden for a retreat day away to invest in the wellbeing of your body and mind. With a chance to explore the estate, as well as enjoy some movement to heat the body and feel the breath; Emma will then dive into a fun and hands-on workshop to help you gain a better understanding of your posture and how your body moves throughout the day. This will be a very useful workshop to help you feel realigned in your everyday routine.

Suitable for all, whether you’re a yogi or want to try yoga for the first time; come and embrace nature in all its glory to allow you to reconnect with our mind and body.

Come and give yourself time to get away from the busy world and take time to reset, recuperate and re-energise.

Being in the great outdoors is important for retrospection, to gain perspective and allow nature to work its magic. Experiencing natural sunlight can boost your mood and productivity.

Suitability and availability

Suitable for all, seasoned yogis and also complete beginners new to yoga. This is a day of knowledge and learning and also a restful, restorative day allowing you to reconnect with yourself and with nature. 

About Emma:
Emma Garland is founder of The Good Food Yogi and North Wales Yoga Retreats; a hugely successful Yoga and Wellness Brand, transforming the wellness of hundreds of members across the world for almost 10 years.  

From teaching those who’ve never set foot on a yoga mat, to mentoring advanced practitioners; The Good Food Yogi trains aspiring yoga teachers around the world, using her vast knowledge and teaching experience as full-time Senior Yoga Teacher and Approved Coach with the UK, Yoga Alliance Professionals organistaion. 

A hawk-eyed, hands-on yoga teacher for over 10 years, Emma teaches all levels of yoga using a mix of in-person and online classes, 1-2-1s; workshops and retreats. Closely watching her client’s movements, Emma’s relaxed approach uses tailored techniques to improve muscle imbalance, posture, flexibility and strength.

  • A variety of new skills. You will feel motivated as you start to build better and healthier habits. You will meet with Emma Garland each Friday and see how your skills are growing. You can attend one class, two classes, or as many classes as you like as part of our 21 day wellness series.

  • To embrace the seasons, working with them and not against them.

  • To feel emotionally and physically boosted. You will feel inspired through movement and knowledge.


Timings:

9:45am: Meet
10am: Meditative walk through the estate
11:15am: Move, breathe and flow yoga session

11:45am: Posture and yoga session
1pm: Lunch from our award-winning Farm Shop
2pm: Finish
